**Best time to cycle**

Changing climates in different parts of the country. In the mountains it can cool down considerably in the evening. Usually warm and around David hot.

**Spare parts**

Seen several bike shops, most with simple bikes. Also quite a lot of 28 inch tires.

**Nice routes**

- Last Uvas - El Valle de Antón - Penonomé: Good asphalt, little traffic, beautiful surroundings, plenty of supplies.
- Santiago - Soná - Guabito: Quiet tarred alternative to the Panamericana, with beautiful nature.
- La Concepción - Volcán - Río Sereno: Good road to paddle to Costa Rica in peace.
