## **People **

The population can appear distant and arrogant, very different from the surrounding countries. John: "However, this is not always the case, certainly in the case of a common interest (cycling) Singaporeans turn out to be very friendly people. Detachment also stems from shyness and 'looking out of the tree'. This can happen. as arrogant."

Almost everyone speaks excellent English. Only elderly Singaporeans of Chinese descent are not always able to speak English. In addition, the 'foreign workers' often do not speak the English language.

Singapore has a huge range of luxury, expensive hotels. Finding a cheaper hotel is more difficult. In many places, apartments in condominiums are used as affordable hotel rooms.

In Singapore it is 30 degrees all year round and it rains regularly, especially in the afternoon.
