# Parque Municipal de Azul "Domingo Faustino Sarmiento"

Con más de 22 hectáreas y 250 especies de árboles exóticos y arbustos ornamentales, el Parque Municipal Domingo Faustino Sarmiento es el pulmón verde más importante de la ciudad. Inaugurado en octubre del año 1918, se ubica junto al Arroyo Azul y cuenta con patrimonio escultórico en mármol de Carrara que le otorga una cierta distinción, remontando al visitante a épocas pasadas. Sus senderos interiores, recorridos por turistas, ofrecen diversos parajes para la contemplación como el Patio Andaluz y la Isla de los Poetas.
