This border crossing is for cyclists only. Other border crossings from Poland only allow bicycles if they are transported in a car. An invitation to obtain a visa is no longer necessary since the beginning of 2010. Notification obligation / registration within 3 days has been changed to 5 (working) days since June 2010. The easiest way to register is to spend the first night in a somewhat more expensive hotel with registration authorization, then you are ready in one go. We did not do this and registered ourselves, but it took us half a day and a lot of fill-in work for which we had to be in five different buildings. I speak Russian, but I wouldn't know how to do this if you don't know the language. You can of course also travel by train from the last station in Poland to the first stop in Belarus, eg Terespol - Brest. Goes once a day. ## **Experiences** (1) - IMPORTANT INFO updated to date 1.06.2021 : For foreign citizens and stateless persons, except for those who have a permit for permanent or temporary residence in Belarus, entry into the Republic of Belarus is temporarily suspended!
