Eldoret is a town located 2100m above main sea level. It is home to many world renown Kenyan athletes that train at this altitude.
Just nearby there is the Kerio Valley which is part of the famous Rift Valley located in a town called Iten, there are a few high altitude training centres there are well.
Eldoret also has huge supermarkets, restaurants and supermarkets so it is a great place to stock up on rations and unwind.
