This is where the biggest dune (Big Daddy, 800 m) is located, next to Dead Vlei. This place is truly remarkable. Some dead trees stand on a dry clay surface, turned black because of their age. The earlier you come, the better the view.
You can't camp here, as you can't even enter the road to this point by bicycle. You have to come by car. The best way is to just ask some people on the campsite you're staying at to join them. It takes about an hour to go from Sesriem to the dunes, as there is also a part that is not tarred. In total, it will take about 6 hours from departing to arriving back to Sesriem.
