Entering Mexico here you can only get a 7 day temporary Visa. Actually 6 since they include the entry day. The closest actual immigration point to get a complete 180 day Visa is Carmen Xhan. You CANNOT get a Visa in any other town including Palenque. Only at an official border crossing.
